Zentangle is a fun and easy-to-learn spiritual practice.
Joyce Block has created instructional video about how to practice, and has offered to share it with DPC! We are grateful for all of our varied passions gifts and talents in our congregation, and we are especially grateful to Joyce for sharing a practice we can do while we are sheltering in our homes! You can use the blue button at the bottom of this message to link to the video.
But first, here are a few words about Zentangle from Joyce:
The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. Some people DPCe may remember that I gave a beginning class a few years. This first video is a review of that class.
I will add more classes each week adding more patterns as we go along.
Supplies needed are:
- A 3 1/2 inch square piece of card a stock.
- A blank pen
- A pencil
- A tortillon (a Q tip could be substituted)
I have taught this lesson to people ages 7 through92. With adult assistance young children could do this also. If you are currently home-schooling, you might try it for an art class.
Blessings,
Joyce
