Family Promise – Week of January 30

The churches of Family Promise are cautiously hopeful that we’ll be able to return to hosting families in the church rotation schedule this spring.

Meanwhile, we continue to share responsibility for providing meals for the three families we have in apartments supported by Family Promise. DPC’s meal week is the week of January 30.

Jane will be sending out instructions in the next couple of weeks so if you would like to help, get in touch with Jane.

We’re looking for people to make a freezer main meal, salad fixings, bring milk, or make a dessert. You can contact Jane Lurvey at jlurvey@wi.rr.com.

Annual Congregational Meeting – Sunday, February 7th after service

DPC’s Annual Congregational Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, February 6, 2022, immediately following the church service. Due to high COVID infection rates, we will forego our normal luncheon, and instead stay together in the sanctuary for a short update and time for questions and answers. If you are unable to attend on the 6th or are not comfortable joining us in-person, but would still like to receive an annual report, please contact Pastor Nikki at PastorNikkiDPC@gmail.com

Little Dresses Update – December 2021

Our Little Dresses sewing group has been busy making pillowcases for distribution to children in local hospitals. Recently we delivered 35 of the pillowcases as well as four fleece security blankets which we just began making. Earlier this year we shipped 38 dresses and 24 sani-pads for distribution in Africa.

Contact Betty Tills if you are interested in helping with our mission. No sewing required.

Handbell Choir – Sunday, December 12 and 19th

DPC’s joint handbell choir is scheduled to perform twice during the month of December! On December 12, they will share some Advent/Christmas songs at Delafield Presbyterian Church and on December 19, they will be at Kettle Moraine United Presbyterian Church.

Please join us if you can!

If you’re interested in learning how to ring, there’s always room for more ringers. Just talk to Robin to get the details!

Giving Sunday – November 21

This Sunday, November 21 is giving Sunday. We will think about how using all of the blessings we have in our lives wisely is the best way of life!

Please join us and come prepared to make your pledge! If you can’t make it to church that day, please mail your commitment cards in as soon as you can.

If you have questions or need to get a pledge card, please contact Doug Lurvey.
