DPC’s Annual Congregational Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, February 6, 2022, immediately following the church service. Due to high COVID infection rates, we will forego our normal luncheon, and instead stay together in the sanctuary for a short update and time for questions and answers. If you are unable to attend on the 6th or are not comfortable joining us in-person, but would still like to receive an annual report, please contact Pastor Nikki at PastorNikkiDPC@gmail.com
Our Little Dresses sewing group has been busy making pillowcases for distribution to children in local hospitals. Recently we delivered 35 of the pillowcases as well as four fleece security blankets which we just began making. Earlier this year we shipped 38 dresses and 24 sani-pads for distribution in Africa.
Contact Betty Tills if you are interested in helping with our mission. No sewing required.
On Sunday, December 19, we will have a presentation from our Sunday school class about the birth of Jesus. Since we don’t have children on site yet, they will illustrate the story of Jesus’ birth for us!

DPC’s Bible Study continues at 11 AM, Sundays in the conference room. We have started working our way through the book of Genesis, looking at different ways of reading scripture and trying to understand what the original authors might have meant when they wrote it.
It’s a great study! All are welcome.
Our next meetings will be on November 28 and December 12.
Advent begins on Sunday, November 28. This year, we will explore the theme of moving from darkness into the light. It will be tied into coming out of the darkness of a pandemic into a changed world and the challenges and blessings that come along with it.
