Plowshare Fair Trade Marketplace & Education for Peace – Sunday October 21st

On Sunday, October 21st, The Plowshare Market in Waukesha will visit Delafield Presbyterian Church! They will teach a lesson to our congregation and to our Sunday school class about what Fair Trade items are and why it’s important to buy them!

After the service, Plowshare will host a fair trade market, where you will have a chance to purchase fairly traded items! You’ll find anything from coffee to jewelry, to children’s toys to home décor! Also for sale will be Gifts for the Journey soaps and lotions. These products are produced by the women of the Clare Center in Milwaukee, a home for women escaping human trafficking. All proceeds of their sales support the Clare Center.

So come to church with some cash and prepared to get a start on your holiday shopping!
