We did it!  Little Dresses Sewing Group made over 50 pairs of pajamas for the children of Open Arms Home for Children in South Africa.  Our goal was to have the pjs finished by June 1^st and ready for mailing soon after.  We are happy to be ahead of schedule and in plenty of time for South Africa’s winter season.  The orphanage is not heated and nights can get cold so we knew our work would be welcomed.

With the pajamas made we will return to sewing little dresses and lap quilts.  We’ll meet again on Wednesday, June 20 then take the summer off until September.
